Just Cute Kids

Every time I break out the camera Bella and John break out the fake cheeeeese smiles, they are so funny. Bella loves that pink headband and just had to wear it with her beads. She is a girly girl.

Tamar and Tessa did great getting their hair done yesterday. Tamar did not even cry. I could not believe it and she loves her hair. We now have to keep it looking good until the 17th for Ashley's wedding.

What to do?

I need a change.......

The changes I am going through are not being kind right now....

I need to do some reading and see if there are anything different I need to do or try to relieve some of these symptoms......

moody, not sleeping, grouchy, no fun, hot flashes, night sweats, did I mention grouchy,
clumsy, complains to much......

I am tired of this stranger in my body.....

I want to be a great mom my kids will love and cherish....

I want to be one of those who will serve the Lord with reckless abandon no matter where it takes them, or what He asks them to do. (I was reading that quote on another blog that I love reading and it just hit me in the face!)

ENT update

Well John had his appointment today with an ENT. He is scheduled for surgery on Oct 11th to have his adenoids removed. His tonsils were not enlarged/swelled and his ears were clear today. The process to remove the adenoids is out patient so I am hoping it goes smooth.

Next catch will they except HP paperwork so the surgery can be done?? I am hoping so. We do not have the paperwork needed to do custody in our county courts. They want all these notarized documents that were just impossible to get post earthquake.

Our director is working hard to get all this done and I am praying will get an adoption decree soon. I AM PRAYING HARD FOR THIS!! I can only imagine the frustration involved now getting paperwork finished now.

Lord Help US please!

Change of Life Already?

Well I have had a busy two weeks. I have been in the doctors office every but once in the last 8 business days for myself or John and Bella. OBGYN for myself, MRI, Sports medicine twice. John had a recheck for ears but referred for adenoids and cyst /lumps in his eyelids. This is stressful working around scheduling everything while never knowing when my husband will be home with the car so we can leave. There is also the problem of having to be back home before the girls get off the bus, some days there are not enough hours left between to make appointments and I have 4 more to make ugggg.

In the mist off all the crazy days I have been having hot flashes like crazy. I thought it might just be my weight but my blood work confirmed menopausal results. Guess that explains the mood swings and sleeping problems. I guess I am happy I was done with the child barring years early in life or else I would be out of luck. Seems strange to be unable to bear kids at 41. That is the age lots of women are starting families. Guess like everything else this will pass.....

Happy Birthday Dustin!

Dustin turned 22 today. I baked him a cake to celebrate and he stayed around long enough to play with the kids a few minutes then he was off again.

3 years home

Today is Tamar and Tessa 3 year Gotcha home anniversary. To celebrate we took them for Mexican food their favorite (and mine) then to the county fair. They LOVED it again. John and Bella had a good time also and it was a first for them. I will add pictures tomorrow I am exhausted 4 hours in over 90 degree weather, ruptured disk and pushing 70lbs worth of kids I am just done for the evening.

MRI

I had to get a MRI done today after 3 weeks of physical therapy not improving my back to see whats going on. I had one of these done about 9 or 10 years ago when I was about 75lbs lighter. OMG it was HORRIBLE!!!! I could not even move in there it was so tight. I had a straight up panic attack. They pulled me out and luckily I was able to calm down enough to finish. I don't remember it being so tight in there last time I guess because I was so much smaller. Both of my arms and hands were numb when I finally finished. I should know Friday what is going on.

Ashley was so kind to babysit for me this morning and let me use her car. Scott and I have to share the van since his motor blew up on his car, and he was not home in time to watch the kids. There is always a price to leaving John with Ashley.

Sleeping

Poor Tamar came home with a 101 temp Friday before Labor day. We just prayed it was nothing serious since UPS dropped them on the insurance since they don't have SS cards yet!!

Since coming home almost 6 months ago John has had sinus problems. His doctor told me there is no way he could have sinus problems, he has not been here long enough. I have been treating him for sinus anyway and last week I took him to the doctor and guess what he has sinus problems now. How frustrating.

This is how he woke up. Now he is on antibiotics, benedryl for his swollen face and Nasonex for his sinuses. Sometimes I think Mom knows best!
