Our 9 year old needs to come home

We have a 9 year old girl in Haiti that needs to come home. We have to pay off at least one of the kids we have here before she can come. I have 20 cookbooks left from fundraising when Tamar and Tessa came home. If you could make a donation of 10.00 I will ship you a cookbook. Day at the Park

We made our first trip to the park yesterday and the kids had a blast. I won't mention McDonald's and the fact that John and I had to go sit in the van before the park due to a total melt down!

Kids doing great

Both John and Bella are doing great. They are adjusting well and love to eat! They have lots of clothes now thanks to Jane, Susan, Susie and Heidi (thank you so much!)

We were able to get their medical/dental benefits really quick and have been to the doctor 2 times this week. That was so hard on them getting shots and blood drawn. Our doctor can't believe they are 2 and 4 he say's they are just to small. I told him it's normal and they catch up quick, but he feels John may have some other issues going on with his liver. We have to wait on more results to find out.

Thanks for all the prayer, clothes, diapers and donations to bring our kids home. Thank you notes will be going out soon.

We are Home

We have not had any free time for updating but we are rejoicing and praising God for the mountain that has been moved to bring our babies home. They came in with 60 something other kids and quite the ordeal before they even left Haiti.

The plane that was suppose to bring them into Miami had mechanical problems and never made it. The kids were dropped off at the airport around 6:30 pm. They ended up sleeping in a bus over night on the tarmac. M had to bring Nannies and supplies to care for the kids until the next morning. The new plane arrived (C-130)and they left around 8 am and landed in Miami around 10 am.

We did not leave His Home until 9 pm with both kids. John came in about 3 hours earlier than Bella but finally we were able to leave with both babies.

We are in Flordia!

This is our third day waiting in Florida for the kids. They are on the list that was suppose to be signed out Friday. That list was not signed but another with only a few kids on it. We are praying tomorrow will be the day. We just can't afford stay much longer. We stayed in Miami for two days but rates went up to 300 a night because of the super bowl. We are now two hours away in Ft Pierce and the room rates are better.
