Here's some verses that help me make it through this adoption the 2nd go around. I really thought it would be easier this time but it's not. I have struggled with is this God's will or my will as I know I am not alone in thinking this after talking to others.
I have one special friend who combed her Bible for verses for me to try and understand all my feeling of doubt this time around. Thank you A! and I also have my support team including my hubby, my daughter Ash, small town girl (I keep her up talking and wake her up at all hours she keeps me sain!) and she never complains. I also have T who I feel like we have formed a really good friendship and can't wait to meet, a blessed life who I email with and talked to once (she is a real inspiration) reading her blog and 5 frozen chamorros have inspired me to home school which we will start up in just a few weeks. There is also my dear friend Zabboo who is wonderful and helping a lot of people on our group with updates. She does it because she wants to and loves helping families! There are several others that have helped along the way and I appreciate everyone's help, prayers and friendship.
Our first adoption was very different, we were involved in a church that supports Haiti in medical mission trips that's how I meet two of my favorite ladies Susan and Jane. I had a dream of wondering in a airport lost not sure where I was going and two weeks later I was on a plane for the 1st time in my 36 years. After that trip and 2 years of trips to Haiti I found my angles from a link Susan sent to me and I never looked back. I never had any doubt God was in total control but this time I just don't always have that feeling.
I read another blog the other day and a lady was explaining her feelings of is this God's will for her family and she was having a hard time trusting the Lord because if it was not the Lords will what would she do. I understand her feelings but I don't want to be like that. I want to be confident that I am doing God's will because only then do the blessing come! More to pray about!
