Here are a few pics from the bus stop Tessa was totally bored with it in a matter of minutes.

Here is one before the bus stop and a picture of our house from the road. It's a good little walk to the bus stop but at least it's at our driveway.

Waiting for the Bus

The girls got right out of bed this morning. We did our morning routine then headed for the bus stop at 8 am. At 9 am we were still waiting. Finally a bus stopped a few minutes later to inform us middle school routes had started and we needed to contact transportation. We did that on our way to school. It turned out better anyway since I got to walk the girls to the room and hug and kiss them goodbye.

The girls rode the bus home in the afternoon. It was only 40 minutes late but it will get better everyday as the drivers learn their new routes, and if it don't I will drive them to school and pick them up. They had a great day at school and both were really happy talking about new friends and playing school when they got home. We were so relieved!

School Hair and James

Here are some pics of the girls with Ash new boyfriend the girls really like him and so does Sam our Irish Wolfhound (took a few visits for Sam)

School Hair

We have been collecting school supplies, clothes and new shoes for school all this past week. The girls also met their teacher and really liked her. The last thing on the list was of course hair day. I decided to have it braided again because it lasted almost 3 months last time. We arrived at the salon at 9am and left at 4pm. It was packed and Tam had her usual meltdown and it took a lot longer. Ash brought us some motrin for her when she got home and it seem to help with the pain of braiding. Tam is very tender headed. The last two hours she did great.

Big Brother

D decided to watch a movie. All it takes is sitting still for Tam to get out the beads and bows and start styling. He came by a few days later with his head shaved lol. Tam was so disappointed and told him he needed to grow it back!

Summer Fun

The girls love to do anything big sister Meg does so they decided to tan with her (with lots of sunscreen on). Tam couldn't find her swimsuit so she had to borrow one of Megs and she just loved it. Taco didn't get a choice in the matter he was rubbed down with sunscreen and carried out. Poor dog!

School Time

It's that time of year and the girls will start Kindergarten on Monday. They are both excited with a little nervous mixed in. Since we moved it put us in new school zone. We are only 2 miles down the road from our old house but have 4 elementary schools in this area. Anyway you drive there will be a school. I was pretty sure we were in D school zone but called the zoning board just to make sure, they said we are so I collected my documents for enrollment and off we went. When we arrived I was informed we have to go to the new school in the other direction for enrollment, they only take appointments so I had to call and work that out. We got all that done and when the lady tried to enroll them it would not let her do it we are in the D zone. She called me a week later to let me know this. She was very nice and I explained what happen and that I had called the zoning board and was told the same thing. She called the zoning board to get details and the D school to let them know if you live on the even side of the road you go here and if you live on the odd side you go there.

We got everything settled and tonight they posted the class list so you could drive by and see who your child's teacher will be. I had requested they be placed together but not sure if it was possible this late in the game. We were very happy to see TnT on the roll with the same teacher! Tomorrow they get to meet Miss N and take in some of their supplies. I hope they click with the teacher and adjust well because homeschooling is not out of the question I will just have to get my act together better and become more organized!
