Prayers Please

It has been a rough month! Our little peanut Tessa had surgery and then I did this past Monday. The doctor found a little more than expected so now I have to wait for the results. Today I went to get shots in my back, I could barely walk (bulging disk). After getting home safely my hubby calls and his car broke down. I think his 1986 Volvo is dead! No money for a new car prayers please! and Thank you!

Peanut's surgery

Tessa had surgery last Wednesday, adenoids and tonsils removed. That is a hard surgery for a little peanut. They told us she would eat like crazy first two days while all numbed up and they inject with st*eriods to help with the swelling (which made her eat like crazy) that lasted just as they said for two days and now its really hard to get her to have anything! She looks like a bag of bones poor baby! Here are a few pictures when we first got home and she was feeling good.....

Surprise at the fair

It's that time of year!!! Cooler weather and the County Fair in town. The kids love the fair and the rides (well everyone but Bella on a few rides) and we look forward to walking around inside looking at the vendor booths to cool off. There was a nice breeze today but I am still sunburned!!

Anyway while walking around inside we had a man ask if he could talk to the kids about Jesus, he had all kinds of materials and little Bibles at his booth. WE of course said YES! After talking for a minute he prayed with them and told us a little of his story of being a missionary in Africa! Each one of the kids then had a prayer of blessing by themselves and a Bible dated when they accepted Jesus! A great day at the fair!

6 Years

Its hard to believe that the last 6 years have been spent in missions and adoption. TnT 4 year got cha home was on the 19th! So hard to believe on one hand and it seems like they have always been with us on the other. It's really hard to get back to a "normal" life after being so consumed and wrapped up in everything for that long.

When everything started to settle down I found myself feeling depressed, so I stopped blogging, talking to people, doing things I enjoyed just basically existing and taking care of everyone else but myself. That's one of the reasons for the 90 Day Challenge, I am getting back to me.

Anyway here are a few picture of the kids since I have not posted any in a while.

New Family Members

As if we don't have enough to do we now have 3 new pups. One was going to be Ash's but she decided to bring her back which is fine the kids love Luna!! Lucy and Luna are both Chi Poo's and Sir Dandy is our Yorkie Poo.

I am going to start trying to blog again, it has been a busy season in life. Since this chapter is done I am thinking of making a book from the whole adoption life and starting a new one updating on the kids here and there and life in general. I am not sure I even have any readers anymore, I know lots of people have moved on from blogs and blogging, just have to see what I can come up with. I will put a update on the kids in a few day!

At Long Last

TnT are finally American Citizens!!!!!!!!! So relieved to be done with something that should of been finished so long ago! S went to SS office Monday and as soon as they show up in the computer their cards will be issued! I am so relieved that we can add them back to insurance and not stress so much if they get sick! Thank you Lord!

Birthday Girls and Engagement

This past weekend was Tessa's 7th and Megan's 20th birthday. We went to the bowling arcade for some fun on Saturday. On Sunday Megan stopped by to show me her ring and her news! Really happy she has found someone who makes her sooooo happy!

Finally

Sunday at Ashley and James townhouse. They cooked lunch for us and James' parents and we got to see their place for the 1st time. Kids really enjoyed playing with their dog named Bella. Lunch was great and we really enjoyed our time with them. We also celebrated James bday and Ash graduation which is this friday.

3rd Place

Continuing the weekend the kids and I watched the drivers on Saturday and I returned to the banquet Saturday night with S. He placed 3rd in his division so no Orlando trip:(

Mother's Day weekend

We had a really busy weekend. The Truck driving competition is always on Mother's Day weekend so that had been planned for a while. A little wrench was thrown in when Tamar's class decided to do a program on Friday for Mom's day, was planning on keeping them home so we could watch S drive. We didn't get to see S drive but Tamar's program was good and she really enjoyed us coming.

Little One's room

Well as I told before we ended up moving kids around again so now John and Bella share a room. I wanted to find something that was not just for one of them but for both, but not to girly. I think I found the perfect bedspreads/quilts for now. They were a steal at G**dWill at 12/16 dollar one twin one full.

Also John just got glasses. He was diagnosed as near sited when we had his eyes checked last year and he is getting ready for the next school year and could not pass the vision part of his physical. We were really afraid he was color blind but just delayed.
