Best Christmas Ever

Yes indeed the best Christmas EVER! All our kids home and John and Bella enjoyed being a part of the festive weeks leading up to Christmas. I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas as much as we did.....Thank you again to all my friends who gave to help bring the kids home!

I am so relieved to say we finally were able to mail TnT's paperwork for citizenship today!!!!!!!!!!!!The wait time for process in 5 months according to the website and we called to see if we could do the rush route and they don't qualify. I am praying that things speed up because as soon as we have this done we can apply for SS cards for the girls and have them added back to insurance. Praise God for this we have really been stressing about getting this done.

The kids are doing great really getting excited about Christmas. Tree is going up this weekend, hoping Lola behaves or the tree won't last very long. I don't know who will be more excited her or the kids.

Birthday Girls

We have two birthdays today. Ashley my oldest turns 24 today. Her first birthday as a married woman;)Tamar is 7 today (on paper anyway) and never wants the day to end LOL!

Cute Reception Idea

I am not sure where Ashley got the idea to do the candy bar, but it was a big hit with kids and adults alike. They did a great job of a reception on a budget!
The bags were hand stamped by them also. Gave it a great personal touch.

Happy Halloween

This is a first for John and Bella. They knew something was going on just from everyone else excitement. They just left with Ashley, James and Meg for trick or treating. They love taking them and dressing up with them.

This year we have a pink girly cat, Jessie the cow girl, Elmo, Sollie, Bat Man, Malaise in Wonderland and Jason's sister.

Thank you to the sweet Angel that came by today! You know who you are and you are appreciated and love you bunches!!!!

Our grocery budget this week was 26.00. Diapers and washing powders had to be purchased so that took a chunk.

I am working on potty training the kids John will be 5 in January and all he is studying is peeing in his diaper, pull ups and underwear. It has to stop just can't afford diapers anymore and he is to old for them!! He knows what he is suppose to do he even pees in his undies and hides them in my closet!! I think he will go commando tomorrow after the bus stop.

I am going to purchase the products to make homemade washing soap this weekend that should save us lots of money. Laundry for 8 = laundry everyday, multiple loads.

Planning a garden for next year, wish I had of this year.

Making menus for our meals and trying to find other ways to budget in hard times!
